Écopiège® extension band kit

Écopiège® extension band kit: 8.3 metres provides for approximately five typical extensions.

Trees highly infested with processionary larvae or trees with small diameters posing a risk of an overflow of caterpillars require extensions. The extensions increase the capacity of the rings, where the processionary larvae can remain for several days.

How does it work?

Cut the extension the same length as the ring.

Place the extension over the  Écopiège® ring.

Do not take any action when the caterpillars are in the ring. Do not push them with a stick.  The processionary larvae can stay in the rings for more than 15 days at times.
