An anti-bacterial treatment has been applied to the knit.  The balaclava stands up well to washing, sweat, and friction. Warm, double-layered mesh with high thermal resistance and high body infrared reflection. Windproof effect. Bi-stretch knit allows for an effortless fit around the head. Double-sided fleece knitting provides very good moisture transfer: the fibres on the inner side instantly absorb moisture and diffuse it through the microfibers on the outer side, over a large surface area, allowing for rapid evaporation. Good protection of the nose without disturbing breathing. Openwork knit strips (made of the same knit as the base material) at the mouth level to avoid condensation during breathing and the feeling of cold. Resists pilling because of the smooth, outer filament surface.
