An airbag for climbers!
 
The ZIP-ABSORBER 1 protects climbers like an airbag in the event of critical falls—those that appear without great danger but could cause serious injury.
In standardised falls carried out for certification (1 m fall with a mass of 100 kg), the ZIP-ABSORBER 1 reduced shocks to less than 6 kN. Without an absorber, this value is twice as much!
 
Its distinctive feature:
Unlike other shock absorbers, the ZIP-ABSORBER 1 never opens unexpectedly under challenging work conditions. Use it with the RopeGuide as a retrieval sling.
Like all ART products, it’s interchangeable.
