Energy absorber especially designed for working with heavy loads and for rescue operations during which the helpless person is attached to the rescuer's system.

The specially designed DEFUSER energy absorbers type S, L, and RESCUE may be used exclusively with the guided-type fall arrester FUSE: They are light, compact, and the maximum arrest shock is 30 % below the standard.
