The ARGIOPE in 11.7 mm was the first rope ever to be sold with a splice thin enough to go easily through the ZigZag and Spider Jack (Slim splice). It was a real innovation that helped arborists in their everyday work, and still does. The new ARGIOPE EVO are also spliced with that technique, at that they remain very stable over time.

It is the only rope on the market with that construction in 100 % polyester, ensuring a constant diameter, with no swelling. Its thick cover provides for a great resistance to abrasion and therefore a great lifespan.

As with the ARGIOPE Blue, the elongation is limited to 2.8% -a great balance between static and dynamic. You will not feel like climbing on a wire.

Of course, there still isn’t any cover-to-core slippage, so both ends can be spliced. It’s the perfect rope for both SRT and DRT. The splices are very thin, flexible and can be pulled through mechanical devices like the Freexion, the ZigZag or the SpiderJack.

The ARGIOPE EVO rope was tested during rainforest expeditions, but also and above all by field testers in Europe. The feedback is unanimous: the rope has the same qualities as the ARGIOPE Blue, only it’s better!

It comes in 2 colours: the ARGIOPE EVO Blue, for fans of the original colours, and the ARGIOPE EVO Berry.
