ZIGZAG (2019)

The ZIGZAG mechanical descender allows users to move around efficiently in trees using classic Prusik pulley system techniques. The friction chain provides precision and fluidity when moving around. The pulley is mounted on sealed ball bearings, allowing the slack to be taken up easily. Can be used on either double or single ropes, providing great versatility. The lower attachment hole is fixed to ensure alignment of the device with the axis of the worker and to optimise grip.

Rope feed is smooth and precise thanks to the release lever, allowing users great control over their movements. Adjusting the pressure on this lever controls the speed of movement.

The ZIGZAG mechanical descender can be used for multiple jobs. It can be used with double or single ropes when combined with the CHICANE accessory (offering more friction during descents) and the KNEE ASCENT foot loop for easier climbs.

Comes with several attachment points, including an upper attachment hole for retraction of the rope when doubled or an additional CHICANE device when using a single rope. It has an integrated, soft ring to hold the connector properly along the major axis.    Secondary attachment hole to add a ZILLON lanyard or additional device.

Moreover, its steel construction and separated and curved side plates increase durability and offer the best resistance to wear.
