SEQUOIA SRT (2019)

The SEQUOIA has been designed for SRT ascent techniques. It has a front point to attach a ZIGZAG or ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical prusik with the CHICANE and KNEE ASCENT accessories and a rear loop to add a CROLL chest ascender with the SECUR suspenders. 

This design puts comfort above anything else—with semi-rigid, extra-wide leg loops and waist belt for a secure hold and pre-shaped, quilted padding for comfort when suspended. It also has two gated attachment points to connect a ZILLON or MICROFLIP lanyard easily, install more attachment points (fixed or adjustable), and other accessories directly to the bridge (RING, SWIVEL). The bridge provides optimal side movements. Mobile side attachment points allow users to follow the direction of the lanyard during sideways movements. The front attachment point with a textile loop improves walking comfort.

For quick and easy adjustment, the waist belt comes with self-locking DOUBLEBACK PLUS buckles, and the leg loops have easy-to-open-and-close FAST LT PLUS buckles to prevent loss of adjustment, even while wearing gloves. The buckle locking system limits the risk of accidental unfastening.

DOUBLEBACK buckles adjust the height of the bridge and allow users to position themselves comfortably. The buckles come with plastic covers to help keep them locked.

Gear is easy to carry and organise thanks to the nine pre-shaped equipment holders with protective covers, five straps for the CARITOOL holder, two straps for a chainsaw or handsaw carabiner, and an elastic to hold a first-aid kit.

Add accessories to adapt the harness according to use:

 - Seat: improves comfort during prolonged suspension,

 - suspenders: attach to the front ring and two rear straps on the waist belt to distribute weight across the shoulders.
