Compact and lightweight (90 g), the BASIC ascender fits great in your hand. Use is for fixed rope ascents or as a progress capture in a reeving system.

Its stainless-steel, toothed cam has a self-cleaning slot that optimises performance under any conditions (frozen or muddy ropes, etc.).
Large lower attachment hole can hold two carabiners (sling and foot loop), whilst the upper connection hole guides the rope.

Ergonomic, easy-to-use (even with gloves) catch for opening. Locks in open position to install or remove the ascender using one hand.
