KIT CAPTAIN

CAPTAIN is a high-resistance, self-locking hook for tree-care work to help install a rope from a distance or move from one axis or tree to another to create an additional temporary anchor.

Despite its weight, it launches easily, and its D shape helps it fix effortlessly on branches up to 90 mm in diameter.

This is an innovative tool adapted to modern work-at-height techniques. Designed with care to make stability and positioning simpler during technical work.

The pivoting D shackle helps adjust the hook if it is in the wrong position. The shackle interacts beautifully with the carefully sculpted hook shape to ensure reliable location on the anchor, specifically for connecting to distant anchors and facilitating controlled sideways movements–traversing.

Once in place, the quality engineering ensures a nominal strength of 23 kN (depending on the anchor). Once the work is done, the Captain hooks easily to a harness, limiting the risk of snagging.

The kit comes with a CAPTAIN hook, pivoting shackle (DMM/SW410), 10 m of ⌀10 SIRIUS rope with one stitched eye, and a three-litre storage bag.
