The BOX T PRO PRESS gel (subject to the renewal of a marketing authorisation exemption) is a high-performance biocontrol solution authorised with an exemption* for creating sexual confusion in box tree moths (Cydalima perspectalis) to combat their reproduction.
BOX T PRO PRESS is an exclusive sexual confusion gel composed of a synthetic pheromone that is applied directly in the boxwood bushes. By saturating the area with thousands of virtual females, BOX T PRO PRESS disorientates male moths, culminating in a lack of interest to seek females and reproduce.
The pouch is activated using a compressed air cartridge. This biocontrol technique directly targets the insects’ reproduction cycle and quickly helps to regulate populations and stop proliferation.
It comes in the form of a gel containing micro-encapsulated pheromones.
Practical information:
- Use it from the end of May to July.
- Approximate diffusion time: 120 days.
- Store at ambient temperatures (maximum 26°C).
- Store in the refrigerator after opening (minimum 5°C).
