This syringe is a unique, patented micro-encapsulation process for the pheromone. The new, ideal format is compatible with different types of traps and can be stored at room temperature. Regular, long-term diffusion provides top efficiency.
We recommend using the Cameraria Pro Caps syringe with the Funnel trap.
Preparation:
Weigh it down with some gravel and fill the lower part of the trap with unscented soap and water. Then, attach it to the upper section.
Squirt the contents of the syringe into the cage.
Insert the cage into the upper part of the trap.
The moths attracted to the sexual pheromone will enter the trap and fall into the soapy water.
Use:
Hang the trap as high as possible in the tree, preferably over five meters and in the first cross-section of the crown.
For better detection, place a trap every 25 metres. One trap attracts moths within a five- to ten-metre radius.
If leaves begin to fall prematurely, pick the dead ones off the ground and water the tree.
If the traps capture less than 100 moths a week, the trees are well protected, and no additional treatment is needed.
