This self-locking winch with 4x reduction factor (5x when used upside down) is perfect for rescue manoeuvres. It was developed to lift or lower an injured person or to tension a system.
This extremely compact system functions even if the distance to the anchor is very short. Once the load has been raised, it stops it from slipping back down, making the action quick and easy to perform.
The system comprises the UP ROLL and UP LOCK pulleys with sheaves mounted on ball bearings. A flexible netting sleeve stops ropes from twisting.
The freelock cam system activates with one hand, even when wearing gloves.
